Bleaching Around The ATL

It's evident that the apples didn't fall far from the tree in my family. My kids have traits, habits, & talents from both my husband and me. Thank goodness, they both got their father's math smarts!

My daughter, Carrie, has my habit of not leaving anything well enough alone! So, when she got this ATL hat it had to get a makeover. After all, who wants something that everyone else has?

These ATL hats are so popular that the store that carries them can't keep them in stock. So, when Carrie bought hers, they only had black on black. She wanted the ATL to stand out and also wanted her hat to be different from any other, so she filled up a little squirt bottle with bleach, put the hat in the tub, & let the magic happen.

The bleaching started to happen immediately. The letters are synthetic so they didn't bleach, which makes them stand out.
It only took a couple of minutes until the hat was the way she wanted it. It got a good rinsing with water and was hung up to dry.
Bleached to perfection! And there's not another one like it in the ATL!
