Last week I reminded you of the spoon plant markers that I made last year. At the end of the post I said how I was working on some new ones. Well, here they are...
I bought the forks at the Goodwill for 25 cents each.
I used a hammer to flatten them out so my prongs would be straight.
I used a wood burner to put the names of the herbs on my corks...
Then I pressed the forks into the corks...
I wrapped twine around the top part of the fork handle securing it with E6000...
Tip: use a chip clip to hold the twine in place until it dries...
I added a bow just above the wrapped twine and there you have it... fork & cork plant markers!

AAAHHHH!!!!! This is SO SO SO great! I've seen lots of different plant markers but this is by far my favorite! I don't have a wood burner though . . . I'm wondering if I use permanent marker and then coat them with poly??

This is such a great idea. I didn't have enough leftover corks from wine bottles so I actually used corkboard to make my planter sticks. I found you at Cherished Treasures Sunday Blog Love.
